Tristan Blue is a Portland raised filmmaker and musician currently residing in Los Angeles. They have made numerous short films that have played at festivals in London, Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Portland.
While growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Tristan experienced the convergence of natural and urban environments at a young age. This bled into their filmmaking and inspired them to create stories about the communion of conflicting emotions. With an emphasis on characters who are going through transition, feel lost, or are in a state of limbo, Tristan hopes to continue making films for the people who don’t fully connect to one singular identity, gender or sexuality, and instead embrace the beauty of multiplicity.
